A milestone for the Via Baltica: on 2 October, the new pilgrims’ shelter in Horst was officially opened and blessed. Situated right next to the church and the vicarage, it was built through a genuine collaborative effort involving volunteers, regional sponsors and the Ecumenical Pilgrimage Initiative. The shelter offers protection from the weather and invites visitors to linger and socialise. A pilgrim’s stamp and a guest book are also available on site. A powerful symbol of solidarity in the region!
